KRAKOW - OSWIECIM 27-29.10.2002

27th of October, Sunday
The Newent group came on the evening to Krakow and check in at hotel. After refreshing common walk to "The Dragon's Cave", restaurant on foot of the Wawel Hill. Later traditional evening walk to Main Square.

28th of October, Monday
After the breakfast guided visit of Kazimierz district, former Jewish ghetto with its Schindler's Factory and Mr.Pankiewicz Pharmacy Museum. The weather was still going better. Our new guide Caroline goes with us by tram to the city center. After the short tea-break visit of Wawel Hill with its Cathedral Church and closed (Monday) King's Castle. After the lunch afternoon free for shopping and visit with the teachers of famous coffee-shop "Jama Michalika". After the dinner at Old Town restaurant overnight at hotel.

29th of October, Tuesday
After the breakfast at the hotel's restaurant depart to Oswiecim and guided visit to the camps of Auschwitz and Birkenau. There we said good bye, beacouse the pupils continue their trip to Brno for overnight. We hope to meet you all again, Colin!
