20th of October, Sunday The Carrisbrooke Group arrived from Prague to Krakow by coach. After the dinner at restaurant "Dragon's Cave" the went to Main Square for evening short city sight-seeing.
21st of October, Monday After the breakfast morning guided walking tour of Kazimierz, including entry to Isaac Synagogue and visit of the former ghetto, where Mr.Pankiewicz Pharmacy and Oskar Schindler's factory can still be seen. With the guide Agnieszka together went the group for lunch by tram. On the way short sight-seeing of Wawel Hill with Cathedral Church. The King's Castle was closed (Monday). The group went through mysterious Dragons Cave to restaurant for lunch. Afternoon was free for shopping. We invited the teachers to famous coffee-shop "Jama Michalika" for cup of coffee and marvelous cake. After the dinner at the Old Town restaurant additional night ride through exciting clubs and restaurants, so typical for Krakow.
22nd of October, Tuesday After the breakfast depart to Oswiecim and extended guided visit to the camps of Auschwitz and Birkenau. Depart during afternoon and travel to Wroclaw for evening meal and overnight.
23rd of October, Wednesday Equiped with packed lunches old friends from Carrisbrooke departed to Berlin. Dear Teachers, Amie, Laura and Steven - we would like to meet you with your fine pupils in Poland again!
