Program II
PRAGUE - BOLKOW - LEGNICKIE POLE - LEGNICA - LUBIN - LUBIAZ - WOLOW - BAGNO - TRZEBNICA - WROCLAW - SADLNO - PRAGUE
1st Day - Arrival from Prague through Kralovec - Lubawka border-crossing. Visit of St.Hedwig
Church in Bolkow. The trip to Legnickie Pole and visit of Benedictine Abbey with its
beautiful church which was built by K.I.Dientzenhofer, the creator of much of Prague's
magnificent Baroque architecture. After sight-seeing of the Museum of the Battle of Legnica
depart to Legnica and visit of the Castle with its St.Hedwig Tower. The coach journey to
Lubin and visit of St.Hedwig Chapel (presently art gallery). Dinner and overnight at hotel.
2nd Day - After breakfast depart to Lubiaz and visit a Cistercian Abbey which ranks as one of the
largest and most impressive monastic complex in central Europe with its renovated the
beautiful Prince Hall with painting of K.F.Bentum and sculptures of F.J.Mangoldt. The
coach trip to Trzebnica. On the way visit of St.Boromeus Church in Wolow and Salvatorian
Fathers monastery in Bagno. In Trzebnica visit of Cistercian convent and Basilica of
St.Hedwig and St.Bartholomeus. The afternoon walking tour through preserve "The Beech
Forest" to the small church of Fourteen Saints-Assistants. The Holy Mass at the Basilica
and dinner at "Forest Restaurant". Coach trip to Wroclaw. Accommodation at hotel.
3rd Day - The breakfast and Holy Mass at the St Mary on the Sand Church. Visit of the Cathedral
Island with its monuments and Archdiocesan Museum. After the lunch depart to Prague.
On the way to border crossing Kudowa -Nachod, visit of St.Hedwig Church in Sadlno and
at request short stop in Wambierzyce.
