PRAGUE  -  WAMBIERZYCE - POLANICA ZDRÓJ - BARDO - KAMIENIEC ZABKOWICKI - HENRYKÓW - WROCLAW - LUBIĄZ - LEGNICKIE POLE - KRZESZOW - PRAGUE
 
 
 
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1st Day  -   Arrival from Prague to Polanica. Accommodation at hotel. After lunch depart to 
                  Wambierzyce,  famous Silesian pilgrimage place called "Silesian Jerusalem".
                  The sight-seeing of sanctuary at the beautiful Barock Basilica and Szopka, a large 
                  mechanical contraption that presents biblical and everyday local scenes. Holy Mass and
                  visit of the open-air museum. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

 

2nd Day -  After breakfast depart to Bardo. Visit of Our Lady Church with miraculous statue of
                Madonna with Child of Bardo and the museum of Christian art. The coach trip to Kamieniec
                Zabkowicki and visit of Cistercian complex from 1294, rebuilt in 1700 in Baroque style.
                Depart to Wroclaw. On the way visit of the first in Silesia Cistercian Abbey in Henrykow,
                Founded here by Duke Henryk the Bearded, a husband of St.Hedwig. Lunch on the way.
                On the evening guided walking tour at Cathedral Island in Wroclaw and the Holy Mass at
                The St.John Cathedral Church. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

 

3rd Day -  After the morning Holy Mass and breakfast depart to Lubiaz, the biggest Cistercian Abbey in
               Poland and one of the biggest monastic complexes in central Europe.Through Legnickie Pole
               (St.Hedwig Church and Museum of the Battle of Legnica) and Jawor (Ewangelic Peace
               Church - on the UNESCO list) the coach trip to Krzeszow and visit local Cistercian Abbey
               settled in 1242 by Benedictines. The sight-seeing of the Monastic Church, St Joseph's Church
               and Piast Dynasty Mausoleum. Depart to Prague through the border-crossing Lubawka -
              Kralovec.
