23 - 24.10.2003

October 23rd, Thursday,

The group arrived from Berlin to Kraków by Intercity Train and was checked in at hotel close to the Old Town . After breakfast they took part at guided walking tour of Kazimierz, including entry to Isaac Synagogue and visit of the former ghetto area, where Mr Pankiewicz's Pharmacy and Oskar Schindler's Factory can still be seen. Then the group went for lunch by tram. After lunch at the Restaurant was some time for souvenir shopping. After dinner at the rustically highlanders restaurant they went to medieval defence architecture monuments - Sankt Florian Gate and Barbacane for evening short city sight-seeing.

October 24th, Friday,

After breakfast the group departed to Oświęcim and extended guided visit to the camps of Auschwitz - Birkenau, the biggest "Death Factory" of World War II. Then they departed to Kraków for dinner. In the evening they departed from hotel to the Main Railway Station and by Intercity Train departed to Berlin.
