RIBE REISER BALTIKUM TRIP

July 6th, Sunday,
The Ribe Group came by ferry to Gdynia and started a long trip through Masurian Lakes to border crossing between Poland and Lithuania. They all were very enjoyed to have a lunch at the fine "Gołębiewski" hotel on the way. In the late evening the group came to Vilnius, where our staff was waiting with excellent dinner in the nice new hotel. July 7th, Monday,
We met the same guide as in 1999 - Mr Jan S. Krogh, Norvegian living in Lithuania. Sight-seeing was very interesting, but the biggest attraction happened in the evening. It was dinner at the famous Stikliu Bociai Restaurant. The excellent food and folklore performance enjoyed all our Norvegian friends. July 8th, Tuesday,
The group departed to Riga after breakfast. The long way through Lithuania and Latvia was really exciting. The dinner and overnight was at the nice and comfortable Radisson Dugava Hotel. July 9th, Wednesday,
The city sight-seeing was the second occasion to meet the old friends. Our guide Lydia Kurochkina showed a nice city and its beautiful modern architecture. The pork snitzel with creamy mushroom sauce and vanilla ice-cream for dinner at Radisson Hotel Restaurant finished the full of impressions day. July 10th, Thursday,
The group departed to Tallinn to nice "Viru" hotel. The weather was still nice. July 11th, Friday,
The city sight-seeing made Mr Torbjorn Ribe himself with accompany of local guide. He knows Tallinn very well. He showed the Old Town with its hills, nice old houses and numerous monuments. On the afternoon was the last possibility for shopping in Balticum countries. July 12th, Saturday,
The last day in Estonia. Morning ferry departed to Helsinki with our friend and brother Torbjorn Ribe and his group. Services:
